January 27th - say 2 Galapagoes Bartolome Island and Sullivan Bay

We are here to enjoy the beauty of the islands. What we aren't guaranteed is the weather or what island we are going to visit. The Park has the right to change our course at any time.  This is a UNESCO world Heritage Site.

We will see blue-footed and Nazca boobies, frigatebirds, pelicans, Galapagoes doves, swallowtail and lava gulls, Darwin finches or herons.  We will also see sea lions - not seals or dolphins! and inguanas.

today acording to our schedule we are off to Bartolme island and Sullivan Bay

we are off to Barolome Isalnd where we climb up to the light house.  It is hot and there are many steps but we all made it!
Our little red crabs which you will see in many of the pictures along the whole trip.
Volcano pieces poking up.

                                                                    A volcano cap.
Walking back down.

Back to get our snorkel gear. I brought my own .much easier

We are ready to go and so is this sea lion but he just doesn't want to leave!  And no one is allowed to touch him to encourage him to move on. It was a stand off for several minutes.

Roberto our guide. a super guide.  we are visiting a volcano island and you can see the formations are so unusual.

Tomorrow's day.

Our crew.  we had only 11 of us plus our guide.  a nice small group all around. They were a lot of fun.
