January 26 th Leaving Celso and onto the ship and the Galapagos

 Today we say goodbye to Celso at the airport as we head to the Galapagos. We arrived around 11 and then off to the ship.  After briefing in our life jackets, we had lunch. A quick break and on the adventure.. we head out in the zodiac to explore the groves.

We find shark, pelicans turtles mating, spotted sting rays that were mating.briefing schedule for tomorrow , dinner and bed.

The islands we will be visiting. They have very strict rules here of where the ships are allowed and how many. Above you can see we landed on the island of Santa Cruz at the top where the airplane is.

        One of the islands just had an eruption. We were back home when this happened.

At the end of the day we get a briefing of what we will be doing the next day and here is our schedule for tomorrow.
