The 2nd day was an adventure...We decided to go downtown to pick up a few things..no problem riding the bus or even figuring out the money but....the stores are a different matter!
Nothing seemed logical and which is the way my mind works. We ended up in a store kind of like our wall mart-food and clothes together only mixed up and set up like a department store..They have no cloth napkins- don't have wash clothes--they don't use them.. But the biggest challenge was shopping for food.
You can find something like what you want, maybe, but again there is no logic in placement. for example spices are found in a couple of places--and not with the baking things- one kind was with the crackers and the other with condiments. The shortening comes in a foil in the refrigeration section and eggs aren't refrigerated. This is going to take me awhile to figure out.
Our dinner was suppose to be with meeting the students and having pizza but the pizzza was gone before everyone came. So we walked to dinner which was more than a mile down the road.
