We are off to Paris for a tour traveling down the vary road of our allies going onto Berlin.
Since we had been to Paris before, we decided to branch off and make our way to the Musee d'Orsay which neither of us have been too. Well actually I have been to it when Amanda and I did a mother daughter trip to Paris. Still amazing. As we were leaving David heard a voice say, Professor Talbot? He turned around to find one of his students standing there. What are the odds on that one?
We cast off down the Seine.
In front of Notre Dame. a little rainy today.
Some of the few paintings that are offered for our viewing.
The glass clock that you look through for a view of Paris. This renovated train station opened in 1986.
The Seine is the second longest river in France at 482 miles. It begins just outside Dijon in the Burgundy region. Thirty two bridges cross the Seine.- more than 20 million tons of freight are transhipped in the port of Paris every year. The river has been a polluted river. The salmon disappeared in 1900 but now the salmon is traveling their 93 mile journey.
We will meet you in Vernon..see you there
